Is this what you mean? I go back and forth on this style. They are slimming in appearance, and I've owned some in the past. On the other hand, the seams can be a bit distracting, if worn with a printed top, for example. The stitched seam pants do look spiffy.

Exactly!   But  the ones I buy and wear and not as snug and are full length.  Those look shrunken!  

 

I don't think it's distracting.  It's just a sewn crease ... not any more distracting that side seams.

 

I have about a dozen pairs like this and three more on the way.  I really prefer this style.
