I think today you can wear white any time of the year, that being said, I'm not comfortable wearing white in the fall and winter so I don't.

In addition to being white, my shoes are too open for cooler weather, so I wouldn't wear them anyway.  Also my fall and winter clothes flow better with seasonal clothing.

 

White boots might serve you better if you live in a cooler climate.

There are so many fashion "rules" that are just ridiculous.  You hear them from QVC hosts and vendors day after day.  (The Fahion Police Force was eliminated years ago.)

 

In reality there are only two rules that are absolutes:

 

1.  There are no fashion rules.

2.  See Rule #1
