If we want to stalk, let's be prepared. As I understand it, merchandise is held for 15 days for receipt of a customer's check. So 15 days from the date of the Linea show would be Tuesday, September 25.

Note: this is anecdotal information, not Q policy. They don't refer to their process as 'check hold' - that is a customer term. Q prefers credit cards, obviously, but they recognize that some customers pay by check. I'm not sure where the 15-day information came from, but past history shows previously sold-out merchandise reappearing online within that time frame.

As you may imagine, there is abuse of the pay-by-check option. Customers 'reserve' an item by choosing the option to pay by check, then waiting until reviews start showing up and deciding at their leisure if they want to purchase. This practice is particularly troublesome for the Linea line because they rarely order enough items to satisfy demand, and it's hard to make a decision impulsively, fearing a sellout. Some of those sellouts may happen faster due to those using check holds.

My point is not to place blame, but to suggest that items previously unavailable may reappear in a little over a week.
