Other than Ebay or direct from St John, anyone have a source for replacement buttons? I think a retail button would take away from the look of these jackets. I want to replace the "pearl" buttons on a black jacket with a black/gold flat button. Thanks

I may have misunderstood your post, but if you can use another brand, I prefer Lamode buttons and have often chosen them for sewing. For a jacket, you want a high quality button. They have them at Jo Anne's.
I'd go to privately owned fabric shops to look as well.

You could try The Knit Doctor in Costa Mesa, CA. They do excellent St. John alterations and repairs, and sell lots of of St. John also. I bet they have at least some buttons. Good luck!
