Splish Splash - Not Stylin' In Rainboots !

I have learned what it's like to tromp in the snow during winter, now I'm learning to walk in the rivers this spring. I need rainboots. I can't find a pair to fit. I just purchased a cute yellow pair from T.J. Max and after a trip to the river, had to cut them off when we got home. They were rubber-ieee kinda. I guess I need a more weather appropriate boot or a boot with a side zipper. Any ideas? Thanks, I have not looked at Bass Pro Shop because they are so expensive.
