I do like the skirt.  The buttons give it a sort of nautical vibe (how I hate that word!).  Looks like the buttons on the uniform sailor pants my uncle wore when he was in the Navy.

BUT ... I would never wear anything with slits that high.  Short slits ... okay.

i like the skirt. but... i would keep the strappy shoes. with those buttons, i would not wear a white jacket. now if the buttons were gold or silver, i could do the white jacket. 

i might do a pumpkin color jacket, or maybe something black with interesting color detailing.  oh, and i would probably wear a cropped jacket.  my head is seeing joan collins as i describe what i would change. bwhahahaha
