Does anyone remember the Spirit by Sandy Starkman pieces?  

I'm changing the closet and just found A0537 in the back of the closet.  It was hanging on the same hanger under something else.  I knew it was around somewhere ...  Based on the item number ... it's from very early QVC!   I think I had some other Spirit pieces.  

I got the medium blue that looks sort of like denim.  It would pass for denim until you feel the fabric.  

The front of the shirt/jacket is embellished, and the back is completely plain.  There are some appliques on the cuffs and a braided trim around the collar.

I just bought a two blue "denim" pieces specifically to embellish myself.  I like "jazzy jackets.:

i do remember Sandy Starkman - and actually looked for more designs from Starkman at Neiman's. always colorful - a bit ethnic - and definitely interesting is how i remember the designs.

I have a Sandy Starkman jacket. I loved his designs. QVC had many unusual things back then.
