Bob Mackie's Ombre Sequin Jacket #A344981 has been calling my name since I first saw it on the QVC website. He even has All Over Sequin Pants #344979 (I often wear the petite length) that match the jacket. These stunning pieces are inspiring me to go out for New Year's Eve. Just beautiful!

I just bought that jacket in black about 2 weeks ago to wear with a dress to an upcoming New years eve party and unfortunately had to send it back. The jacket lining was puckered and to boxy fitting for me. Very disappointing because it is a beautiful jacket.  It may be perfect for you.

@Desert Lily  I am not a Mackie fan but the jacket is beautiful with the different shades.  You really don't need sequin pants but I guess if you want to really do it up you could.  I love the silver but they are all lovely.  Hardly any sizes left.

I agree @Desert Lily -- I saw that jacket presented the other day and was wowwed.  If we still went to fancy Christmas/NYE parties, I'd buy it in a heartbeat!   Go for it -- and let us know how you like it.

I have an old Bob Mackie fine gauge cardigan -- it's black with vertical black sequins that fall from the shoulders down the front of the sweater.   Excellent quality!

@Desert Lily  Ms Lily, if you need a gorgeous dress for the holidays, you should check out the ombre sequined sheath dress Mr Marc Bouwer had on evine last week. He's moved to evine some time ago and had THE MOST STUNNING ombre dress on. You need to take a peak just to see the video on this dress. If I had a party to attend to this season, THIS would be my dress!

Sequins are not my style, but his last show was amazing.  Have been a fan since he designed for Cher’s show in 70’s.
