I'd just LOVE to have a place to go to!  DH will only rarely "do dinner", the holiday dinner the neighborhood had turned into a "covered dish" because they whined about dressing up! (ONCE in a whole year!!!)Woman Frustrated

I'll just grab a GF and have a sparkle lunch!!!

Ain't that the truth @ECBG !!! We went out tonite for a steak dinner, nice restaurant. I wasn't "dressed up", but real black slacks instead of my black jeans, a silk shirt and my usual strand of pearls mixed w/ silver chains, etc. Folks were wearing shorts and sneakers!! 😠 Even if one feels like getting dressed a little, no one else wants to. It's a different world for sure.

Nor do I. No sparkles, spangles, beading or bedazzling for me. Ever. I also don't do "holiday dressing". If I'm going to purchase something, it needs to fit in to my wardrobe for the majority of the year, not just a few days.
