Re: Some Interesting Sandals

12, 18 and 22 are OK.  The rest are everything I don't like in shoes.  I have always been a shoe freak and have had hundreds at a time.  Now I buy 2 or 3 a year, an all time low for me.

Re: Some Interesting Sandals

Hi @layla2450  What current & fashionable sandals do you like? You're welcome to post a pic of them on this thread.

I consider most of the pics I posted to be current fashion whether I like them or not, & a couple may verge on craft or creative/innovative design.

@Kachina624  A few of the examples are reasonably priced (I think they started at $45 & I was surprised).

But, you are right; others go up to hundreds of $. My faves were on the inexpensive side LOL.

Your comment reminds me of a novel I wrote that was about a shoe designer. The main character was fiend, & he sold his shoes for exorbitant prices LOL

Re: Some Interesting Sandals

I like gladiators and even though I don't wear sandals, I would wear these.

I like these, but would wear the tie around my ankle rather than up the leg.

Re: Some Interesting Sandals

Thanks for a great post! I love all, except the one all done up in pearls, but that is only because I am not a fan of pearl anything.

Adore the Farm Rios...I have several of their sandals and several of their sneakers. Always fun, colorful and creative designs.

I haven't worn gladiators in decades, but those Athenas are gorgeous!

Also love the Anthropologie embellished platforms! I'd better avoid their website, or I will order & I have already overspent my spring/summer shoe budget, including purchasing the V.Camudo TSV last night.....

Re: Some Interesting Sandals

Most of the platforms look way too heavy.  I've gotten blisters trying to ignore that fact.

I don't even know what to say about the ones with the *knobs* for in between the first two toes.

Some are just really *out there*, and the rubbery ones looks so comfortable.  Something to wear on a loooong flight.

I like #6 and #20. Shoes are my favorite fashion statement.
