Some 70s fashion - surprisingly modern

[ Edited ]

If you recall watching the 70s version (original) of Charlie's Angels, you may remember season 3 in which Farrah Fawcett returned for the episode with the race cars.

She wore some outfits that seemed well ahead of their time, especially this first one with the leggings, top, and large gold bag.

Here's a tank (Skinny-tee type, perhaps?) with a sheer blouson over it.

Here she is in a turquoise shirt (timeless) with flowered pants split in the front to show lots of leg.Charlie's Angels e.jpg

and in the opening scenes she is wearing that famous bathing suit (from the poster) covered by white gauze pants.  Charlie's Angels beach.jpg

You're teasing us, right?  As I remember, her outfits were extremely conservative - pants suits, solid colors, nothing extravagant, always classic.

I was trying to click "reply" and the page jumped to "best answer."

Anyway, I wanted to say that I now feel compelled to watch some episodes of Murder, She Wrote

ETA:  Murder She Wrote was 1984 to 1996.  We can start another thread on those fashions, but so far nothing on the internet suggests anything less than conservative, non-Logo-ish items worn by Jessica.

Please post if you find any.

I don't think this is a serious enough subject to do research (!!!)
