Socks to wear with trouser....I think I'm too picky - Can you recommend?

I need socks to wear with my trousers BUT I hate (I MEAN HATE) the feel of Nylon, I need like a light cotton so it's not super thick going into my heels.

I also have larger calfs, I'm not overweight, I just workout and run a lot so I naturally have bigger calfs so I need something to go over the top of them.

Right now I am wearing "shorty" socks and I must spend 1/2 my day pulling my socks back out of my heels, so frustrating.

Could you help me out?
