Sitting at home right now watching Isaac Mizrahi Live wearing a pair of comfy jean leggings.
I don't wear leggings all the time, and certainly not to work, but when I do feel like wearing a pair, I do just that.
I like the thicker, looser legging, not the kind that look like a pair of tights.
I'm with Kathleen, I say "live and let live" in 2015!

I seldom see leggings where I live except in yoga class or at gym. I see grade school girls wearing them to school under dresses in the winter. I am tall with thin legs but I look much better in dark jeans then in leggings. I just don't get all the layers - it makes thin people look fat!

I agree.
I don't watch QVC very often, so I haven't noticed if the hosts are overdoing it. But I think leggings with a long top can look really cute. Not the TSV, though.

I've worn them for years, and will continue to do so - always with an amply long tunic, 30" or longer. Always in black, in a weighty fabric. Never will I go back to the '80s style of the flowered/printed/loud ones! (and tops with shoulder pads - the really broad kind)

Have you ever actually LOOKED at yourself in the mirror wearing leggings! I bought one pair, they were back at the post office as soon as I could get them OFF and put on a great looking pair of Jeans, tall boots, and a leather jacket!

I'm not liking the skirted legging but I just got into wearing leggins and I love them. I wear them with long tunics and because I'm 4'11", they fit me like dresses. I love the look and perfect with my riding boots.

Moi aussi.

QVC has many nice pants or jeans to choose from, that are far more flattering than leggings. I live in Texas - and getting ready to buy more boot cut jeans for the big rodeo we have coming up, in February.
Were blue jeans for women ever considered a fad? Just wondering? I personally prefer the comfort of leggings to the discomfort of blue jeans with the harnessed waistline, the need for a belt, the tight stride, pockets everywhere making me look larger than life.

Yes, I do not leave the house without looking at my appearance (to the poster that asked that). I have never seen mouths agape when I wear my appropriately styled leggings worn in public.
