No - I don't take requests. I only make things for myself or for charity through our women's group. That keeps me busy enough!

People don't realize how much time goes into making a sweater / afghan / vest / etc. Then, the cost of yarn, overhead, etc. Think about it .... e.g. a $15/hr minimum wage times 30 hours for a typical project, plus cost of materials.

It's not a "pattern" in the strict sense of the word. It's a technique - modular crochet. Based on a book that I bought back in the 80's. I've made quite a few of them.
It's one of those any yarn, any hook, any size, any neckline / collar / length / width. Variety of stitches. Timeless classic styles. Your choice.
These two new sweaters will be a simple vertical rib turtlenecks with drop shoulders and long wide sleeves - roomy enough to layer over other shirts.

You know I am a long-time fan and admirer of your artistic/creative skills. The yarn you have chosen will be perfect for fall attire and pair so nicely with your new JR Pants.
I would like to see a picture of the pattern you are using if you are able to post and of course would love to see your finished sweaters.

I found a pic of the sweater on the front of the book .... it's the basic shape - one of many that can be done with this technique.

This is a great looking sweater and exactly what I imagined it to look like! Thank you for posting. Do you think your book is still available?
I wish I had someone like you nearby to give me the confidence to attempt a sweater. Well not nearby, but rather nextdoor--because I am sure I would need lots of help.

@ALRATIBA - The colors you chose are perfect for fall/winter. Please post pictures of the sweaters when you finish.
I know what you mean about taking orders. I am a quilter and I will say the quilts I make are definitely from the heart with love. No amount of money would cover my time, materials, etc. Unless one is a craft person, most people don't realize the time/effort that goes into a project.

That blanket is fabulous--truly a work of art!
Thank you for the title of the book. I just went down the rabbit hole and ordered it. Now I have to brush up on crochet stitches.😄
