So I bought myself a pair of mommy jeans!

Those who have seen my posts know that I'm a jean snob. I like high price American made jeans. Jeans like Citizens for Humanity, 7 For All Mankind, etc. I also have the rolled up boyfriend jeans from Current/Elliot. Well, I was in Nordstrom the other day. Have to check the jeans out. Looking for things on sale I found a rack of discounted jeans in the corner. They were the rolled up boyfriend jean. Three jeans in a row (all size 0) but they were NYDJ. All three were the same jean. They had dropped from $148.00 to 49.00. They must have dropped 3 prices. Just for the heck I tried them on. Love them! Fit great. Mommy jeans to me are the elastic waist jeans that D & Co sell to millions. I can only assume they these were left over from the summer in a hard to fit size. These don't have elastic. They are cool looking jeans.

The brand NYDJ is an attempt to make great looking jeans marketed to moms of daughters wearing tight jeans. Cute jeans and have converted me.
