It's not a look I care for but then I'm just not a tennis shoe type of gal even with jeans, etc.  I own one pair and have had them for several years.

I don't like the sneakers with the hot pink pant suit at all.  Other than that the sneakers look good with the clothes but to me it is a very young teenage, early 20's look but that is my opinion.

I wear dresses and skirts with non-athletic slip on sneakers. My work environment is business casual so I do this quite a lot in the spring and summer. I think it's a cute look. I'm in my 40's, so IMO this doesn't have to be limited to younger girls and teenagers.

Maxi dresses and tennis shoes were big in the 90's.  Remember Julia in Sleeping with the Enemy?  That's the look I'm thinking about....
