The other day I saw Sharon Hanbyrobby (I have no idea how to spell her name, the Berkshire Rep) and she had on the prettiest long sleeve hot pink blouse with a tie neck and the prettiest smocked cuffs (the cuffs made the blouse for me). I don't know if anyone else noticed it and knows what it was.....

So in an attempt to find it I googled "smocked cuff" blouses and although I didn't find "The Blouse", I did find some lovely ones, I especially like the first and last ones...

I don't know what it is about it but here's just something about smocking and ruching that I really love.

I like those sleeves too.  I know many women prefer slim sleeves, but for a person like me who has larger upper arms, I need wider sleeves.

Sometimes I have to buy a top two sizes too big just to get the sleeves to fit.  It's frustrating.

I love those smoked sleeves.  I can buy my normal size and they will fit over my arms.  And, they are pretty too.

I like the sleeves too. They'd be easy to push up if too long or you want them shorter.

@GingerHead @I'm with you! They're a feminine touch and give you options. Kim Gravel does a lot of blouses with smocked sleeves. They're all so pricy now but I'd look for "as is" or clearance.

I like smocked sleeves, I also prefer wearing sweatshirts with puffed sleeves gives the shirt a more feminine look.

@GingerHead  I have that striped blue & white shirt with the smocked sleeves, or at least one that looks extremely similar.

Although the style is cute, that's the kind of fashion that is quickly dated.

Next year that will be an item for the donation box for me.

@GingerHead I love the look also. To me, it's romantic, feminine...which is a style I've always gravitated toward.

I love the blue blouse you pictured, as well as that soft pink one.
