I am 5'2" and 100 lbs.  Why does QVC carry many more of the large sizes than small and/or petite sizes.  XXS and petite sizes are the first to go, and I assume they just do not bring in many of the small sizes.  I am hardly ever able to get anything in XXS, as it's always sold out.  Come on QVC--bring in more XXS and petite clothing!

@casterp   I agree.  Although I am not an XXS...I am a Small in most clothing.  I really don't buy clothes here... Macys is my go to for petites.  They have a nice selection and I have never been disappointed in the quality. ...or the great sales.

It is frustrating.  I'm petite at 5'1" but don't wear a small or extra small.  In tops I'm usually either a medium or a large depending on the cut, etc. as I want it to fit well over my D cup bustline.

However long sleeves and overall length of most tops are just too long.  Sometimes if I find something that I like I will get the sleeves and top hemmed....yes it's an extra expense but can really make the fit so much better!

The Q is fond of tunic tops which for me are usually quite long.  Once in a while I will see a much shorter top but not often.  I have noticed a couple of tops in the new Stacey London line to be much shorter (22" - 24") but the sleeves would have to be shortened for me.

It's funny, everytime I check clothing that's in limited supply, the only sizes left are the smalls.  That's not what I wear.  I can rarely find anything else on clearance.

Petitevtops are only about 1 1/2" shorter than the average....that's not enough.  It should be about 3".

Most petite women do not wear a 28 or 29" inseam.  That's way too long.

@casterp

Petite XXS is a "specialty size".  Retailers cater to the average size woman.  Even B&M stores do not have many 0's and 00's on the racks (if they have them at all).

I am literally your same size & weight!

I feel your pain. Most designers wont go small enough. example, I really wanted to try Jenny Garths new line, but no options for 00. in pants/jeans.

Laurie Felt & CCB were a couple of lines that offered my size, but both are gone now.

I just picked up Stacey London's new skirt, it comes in xxs petite, so I am excited to get this, and hope it is true to size.

Honestly, I purchace from specialty stores/ dept. stores now to find my perfect fit & style.

We just need to keep in mind, that both ends of the sizing scale is the minority, and qvc caters to the majority.

Heather, I agree with you that Laurie Felt and CCB actually fit me and worked well.  I was so sad when they were discontinued.  I will look for the Stacey London skirt you mentioned.  And I agree that QVC caters to the majority!!

Desertdi, I do agree with you about most retailers not carrying 00's.  I have to shop at Gap or Banana Republic or J Crew online.  And they cater to the younger crowd, so the styles are not always appropriate for me.  It's so hard to found clothes that fit, especially pants with a 24" waist.

@casterp  I have no idea what styles you like to wear, but if QVC has vanity sizing that is too big for you, maybe you should look elsewhere.  Macy's, Bloomingdale's, J Crew, Anthropoligie, etc. carry clothes in smaller sizes, some even petite.  The clothes are not too young, they are appropriate for midldle age and senior ladies.  QVC is not the only game in town.

And I agree with @Kachina624 that XXS and XS are readily available at the lowest prices QVC offers due to the fact that they are the only remaining sizes in many items.

I just looked at the Lunchtime Specials (QVC's lowest prices) and saw several items that I purchased or wanted to purchase available in many colors in XS and XXS sizes.  QVC adds Lunchtime Specials every day.

Just type "Lunchtime Specials" in the search bar.  You are lucky to be thin and have so many choices to shop at great prices!
