Actually, Slinky was around first. QVC used to present a dress made of this "Slinky" fabric--then QVC had to change that name: hence, Citiknits.

I love Slinky. I have a set of 3 Slinky tank tops arriving tomorrow.

And, yes, insomniac is correct. Slinky came first.

I'm sure none of us are perfect. I pay more attention to what someone has to say than things they have no control over.
