Hello all! I usually wear a 33" (ish) sleeve length but I'm not sure how that translates to the measurements Q now uses for sleeves -- sleeve length from cap. This is probably a silly question but where exactly is my sleeve "cap" and how do I measure sleeve length for this? Thx!

Does this help?
It gets difficult when they use terms from garment construction since so few people really sew anymore.
Draw line joining top of underarm seams and measure from this line to the shoulder point. This is the cap height. For comfort when wearing the garment the cap height of the sleeve should beapproximately 1.5cm longer than the body measurement and the bicep should be at least 5cm more than the body measurement.

so the 'cap height' is the distance from basically your lower arm pit to the top of your shoulder? Would it be the same as the height of the armhole on a sleeveless?

All this does is make me happy to shop elsewhere. Give us useful measurements. It is not rocket science.
