Skirt with mesh hem

Got the skirt in white today. As usual, beautifully made and a good length if you are taller. I'm 5'10. However if you have any tummy issues I would pass. Just made me look bigger. If you are thin, it's a wonderful soft knit and very comfy..

Do you think it was because it was white? Mine are on there way.

I keep going back and forth on this one so appreciate your feedback. I am drawn to the blue but it feels a bit dated to me as it reminds me of a pair of pants with overlay that I had in the late 80 or early 90's.
