As a sewer I wonder if the flowers were embroidered directly on the veil or separately and then sewn on, if the later more people could work on it

I bet each flower was embroidered on a bit of netting and then sewn on the veil. That way, there could be lots of people working at the same time!

I haven't found out how exactly the flowers were embroidered (separately or directly on the veil) but I did find this on royalUK:
"Each flower was worked flat, in three dimensions to create a unique and delicate design. The workers spent hundreds of hours meticulously sewing and washing their hands every thirty minutes to keep the tulle and threads pristine."

The only information I can find about the veil is ,the needleworkers had to wash their hands every 30 minutes, to keep from soiling it
I suppose it was to keep the natural oils from their skin away ,so it wouldn't turn it yellow
