Sizing question re Linea

I don't usually buy clothes online because I'm kinda of hard to fit. However, after reading your rave reviews of the Linea line and seeing part of his presentation last Thursday morning, I'd like to try a piece from this line. The problem is that I'm not sure what size to order. I'm usually a petite 4 or a missy small in tops, but his tops are 2-4 and 6-8. Any advice you could give me on which size to order would be greatly appreciated.
