How does the sizing work for the Women Silver jeans?

I want to order but do not understand what an 1X would translate to. (see chart)

I have looked at the sizing charts on QVC.com but for some reason do not see how to translate a 1X to the sizing charts for the Silver Jeans..

Measure your waist, that's the first number.Then measure your inseam, the length. You can do this by taking your favorite pair of pants/ jeans & measuring from the crotch to the bottom of the leg.

 So if your waist is 28 that would be your first number. If your inseam is 31 that would be the second number:

 28x 31. If your inseam is shorter than what's available you can always shorten the length.

This is a sizing chart like what is used for men's pants.

The first number is the waist size,  the second number is the inseam length.

The largest waist size is only 34 inches. Take your waist size measurement and then choose your inseam length.

These  jeans are not made in plus size.  A 34 inch waist is about a size 12 in woman's sizes.

I noticed that this company does make plus size jeans in normal plus sizes... 18, 20, 22 etc.  You can look them up. They are listed seperate from the misses sizes.

I dont think any of the sizes in the chart would correlate to a size 1x.  I think on the Q you would be looking for the size 18 Plus or Womens.  That would be equivalent to your 1x size.

34 on the chart is an 18. But, Silver does sell a Plus line. Wore Silvers for many years, moved on, but good jeans.

Silver jeans seem to pop up in every D&C search but I've never seen them discussed here.  I've always automatically ignored them since sizing is iffy.

I found them on QVC.  I've never seen them presented.  So I ended up ordering them in shorts.  4" little ones.  I liked them so much, I ordered more of them this year.  Still have never seen them presented.  Up to then, I never heard of them.  I liked the waist size. And button/zipper.   All good jeans are in waist size along with the zipper enclosure. .
