Shrugs With Dresses

[ Edited ]

I am not wearing shrugs to get arm coverage any more. My need is not only arm coverage but I freeze!

A linen or denim jacket is much more modern.  Shrugs have been available since before 2008.

Scarves and shawls are also good.

Other ways to keep from freezing?

Although I have no problem with shrugs, the one in the TSV has been around for years & done to death by every designer. Would look better with  an even squared off bottom & no "tails" IMO.

For me, shrugs are totally dated. I thought the whole TSV looked bad on just about  everyone - huge screaming print and dated shrug. Did no favors for Jayne the few minutes I tuned in. Good lord QVC, can't you do better?

I thought Gravel's TSV was pretty. Shouldve had more solids besides black. I thought Kim, her assistant Amy and Catia especially looked great in it. I live in Florida so this resort-style of clothing does not go out of style IMO.

I NEED arm coverage of some sort.  I'm very cold natured and always have been.  I don't like the TSV shrug though due to the long tails if you leave it untied.  If it's a dated look, so be it.

Something for everyone in all sizes, shapes and ages.  Be really boring if everyone liked the same thing.  Just pass on bye!

The denim jacket has certainly been around forever, too:/

Lately I wear a lightweight cardigan when I need some warmth.  I like utility or chore jackets as well.
