Should these Brands continue?

Just thinking....Joan Rivers, Quacker Factory, etc.

Should these brands continue even though they are gone?

For example, when Joan was living, she would come on with clothes that she would actually wear and bring let's say a shirt that would mimick her actual clothing.  That was the brand.

I think Quacker Factory should stay, her friend Angel who represents it now is so sweet and doing a great job taking over. I think it should stay
I never watched Joan Rivers so I can't answer.

As long as the items continue to sell, the brands will continue.  I'm sure there are people on this board who don't even know who Jeanne Bice is.

I think David is doing a GREAT job with the Joan Rivers Collection.  He was always involved so why not continue?  I too think Angel is doing a great job with Quacker Factor so as long as they are selling, of course they should stay.

Why not?

As long as they're selling they should stay, many must like the brands if they're buying.

When they stop being profitable, QVC will drop them, just like any other vendor/product.

I enjoy watching Angel even though I don't buy the brand, however I think that Quaker could branch out a bit

As long as the brand is profitable, the brand will stay.  Designer lines where the designer has passed are still around and continue to be popular.

I didn't realize I had the power to drop designers.

Re: Should these Brands continue?

Have only bought 2 Joan Rivers items  in the past . I do agree David does describe the  design details , but he often talks to much . Joan Rivers passed away many years sgo and this line continues in her name sake. It gives the impression that it was really her design team all along breathing  breath into this line.  This is the same with many  celebrities  who stamp their name on clothing lines - they don't design anything .

I do think the prices are high . From the 2 items I bought that were on a  sale price , I was not so impressed with the quality . For me, I wouldn't buy this line at full regular price .

Jimmy Dean is long gone and still use his voice which I think.is creepy.  The product continuing is one thing but using his voice bugs me.
