Re: Should people over 50 wear jeans?

I see a lot of people under 50 that should not wear jeans.

I believe you should wear whatever you want.

As for jeans I do get tired of seeing them everywhere and anywhere.  There are venues that dirty, scruffy jeans would be best left home.  Then again, I feel the same about leggings.

I bought a new pair of jeans last fall.  They are still in a drawer with the tags on them.  Jeans are not something I choose to wear.

The topic of this thread made me laugh out loud. It just struck me funny.

I agree.  But I don't think anyone here is talking about dirty, scruffy jeans.  Personally, I don't think those should be worn anywhere (other than perhaps digging in the garden or doing heavy-duty work at home.)

I think it goes without saying that most of us think clothing should be clean.  Jeans, by simply being jeans, are not dirty and scruffy.

That's a crazy question if you ask me.

Denim is everywhere.  It's a wardrobe staple.

Why would they choose an age like 50 and question if someone should wear jeans?

They have nothing else to talk about, so they make up a silly topic?

It has a lot more to do when and where wearing jeans is appropriate..... having nothing to do with age. A 50 year old woman going to a museum wearing her jeans.. fine. That same woman showing up at her place of worship? Maybe not.

Depends on the denim, and the style.  Darker rinses can go pretty much anywhere.

Why not?  It's just pants made of denim!  Women over 50 wear pants, right? LOL Just plain silly!
