I don't like the comment it looks like a bathrobe, but this really does.  Double Nay.

It might look better as a dress instead of over a dress.  Concept is good for a dress,but not for a coat.

I think it looks odd and bad over that dress. Maybe styled differently? So trench as in coat, it's supposed to be a "coat"?

 

I do think blue velvet is beautiful.  She wore blue velvet, better than velvet...nevermind.

I have always loved blue velvet.  This is not a good look, so I would say it is a big NO.  It might look good as a dress with the right accessories.  When I think of a trench coat, I always think of rain, and I would not wear velvet in the rain.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

I don't hate it on the model, but I think that would be hard to wear for must women.
