This would be a big definite NO for me!  Is it supposed to be a coat or a dress?  The short sleeves makes it look like a dress, yet she's wearing it over a dress.  It reminds me a bit of late '80's or early '90's type fashion.  (The polka dot looking dress and unshaped velvet frock).  I love blue velvet too, I even have a blue velvet trench style pea coat, but it has long sleeves.

I think it would look pretty as a dress- worn with the perfect black dressy/sexy shoe, a black velvet choker necklace or a black lace cami. And a blue or black velvet clutch bag.

I had it out Fri. evening and they bounced me by noon on Sat.

I am home resting for two weeks while I heal.

We went back to work last week but the kids didn't arrive until today.
