Hi Everyone!
It's hot and humid with a severe thunderstorn/hail/wins warning. UGH!!! Hopefully, we'll see a bit of relief tomorrow. Needless to say that my migraine is in full bloom so I'm washing kennel blankets and sofa covers (not in that order) instead of grocery shopping. I'm hoping the sale on fresh strawberries will continue thru the week. Crossing my finges for that bargain.
I wanted to do a follow up review on the Candace tees that I purchased. At first , I wasn't too sure about them. I loved the material but they were a bit short for me since I usually always where a tunic tops. Well, they did well in the wash. No shriinkage or needing to iron. I have to say that once I had them on I really liked them. Very cool for this weather and they did not cling to my middle.(where I carry my weight). I'm glad I took a chance on these and they are in colors that I usually do not have in the closet.
The Bissell floor steamer finally arrived. No packing box. Just the floor steamer in the Bissell box. Go figure. Shipping is a surprise every time you order.
I did order the TSV as a shower gift our grandson. I'll just ave it in the closet until it's time. I really would like a set for myself just to get that large one but am trying to refrain. I've done more shopping these last few weeks than I did for a year so I probably should get back on track. I did hear Chris P. mention that she has no idea what the shipping and inventory will be like for the remainder of the year..more like it's been so if you see something you need or like to order it today so you're not disappointed. That's when it hit me about the "shower gift". I thought --one less thing to stress about. YIPPEE!!!
The township was on our street with 3 tree cutting trucks. They were taking down trees in the woods in the section that is township property. They just left the trees on the ground. It such an eye soar not to mention an enviroment for wildlife. I think that it was just too difficult to get the trees from the woods to the road. Hopefully, it will be an obstacle for bear or bobcat, etc. That would be a good thing.

Sorry about your migraines, Fressa. I am so glad that they haven't been a problem for me in recent years. I had lots of trouble with them when I was younger. Particularly an issue at work when sometimes it was extremely difficult to carry on as "usual".
Hot and dry here with a high of 95 degrees predicted. I guess it may get hotter than 95 since we have already reached that number.
Glad you really like the tops, and you were able to get the TSV for your nephew. These shortages are something else. Also the huge price increase for certain items due to scarcity. I guess there is nothing to do but be patient.
My OLLI meditation class was very good, and I am starting to think I may have better luck with it this time. Not a natural fit for me since I am normally more like the "Energizer Bunny" than someone who can sit and be at peace.
The new air purifier arrived, and I am looking forward to see how it works in the living room/dining room. This one is larger than the one I have in the bedroom.
I saw the D&Co. TSV will be some "skimmers" that come in petite sizes and have pockets. While I have some capris on the way and some other capris and pedal pushers, I will probably order them since that is a very useful length for me. And, we have a whole lot of summery weather.
