Hello everyone, been busy at work and didn't see a post for today.
I received my Earth shabooties yesterday and returned them this morning. Nice shoe, just too baggy at my skinny ankle. When you catch the presentation on Friday, you'll understand what I am talking about.
Gotta go back to work :-)

Thanks for the update on the shoebooties. I was going to order them today, but thanks to your post I will pass💗

Hello all, and thanks @Bird mama for the start. Sorry the shabooties didn't work for you. I received mine today, surprisingly, (didn't think they would come till tomorrow), I ordered the sand brown, which is a kind of saddle brown color, and mine fit perfectly. I wear a 9M, and that's what I ordered. No more shoes for me till at least fall. lol
Hi @butterfly123, hope you're doing well.
Hubby had his checkup with his gastrointestinal doctor today, just was looking at his copy of the visit. He has 15 diagnosis, none are new either, been fighting all these things for years. Seems we will have another summer of various tests/treatments, etc. It's exhausting, lol. I am syphoning the water off the top of the winter cover on the swimming pool today and hope to get it open this weekend. It's really warm here today and although cloudy all morning, it is now sunny. Last load of laundry in the washer and have run the dishwasher. I think that's going to be about it for me today. Hope everyone is having a good day. Waves.....

Bernie--Thank you for starting the thread. I am sorry that your shoes didn't work out.
Snicks--It is a neat surprise when you receive an order early. I'm glad the shoes worked out well for you.
I went to the city early this morning as I had a 9am appointment. I got there early so I was out by 9am for a fast return home to relax a little and have lunch before going to work at 11am.
I received an order from Amazon but haven't opened it. While tooling around in the bright sun, I noticed my prescription sunglasses of several years did not permit me to read the gps fine print well enough. I have no problems with my regular glasses, so I bought a pair of polarized fitover sunglasses. It makes for a remarkable improvement.
I just got home from work, so I'm relaxing with some coffee while watching the Vionic show. I wore a pair of Vionic sandals today and have several pair to rotate which I've bought the past two years. I don't think I will be tempted to buy from the show today
I've been entering the QVC birthday sweepstakes each day but have yet to win anything. I should be given a prize for sticking around since 1989 or whenever QVC and CVN merged..

Bird Mama, too bad about your shoes not fitting as they looked cute.
SNICK's, I am glad that your shoes are keepers. It has been in the 80's all week. It is too hot to hot tub until after supper. Enjoy the pool. Sorry that your DH has so many appointments. I have a neurologist in the capitol city, a GI, GP & rheumatologist at our local clinic. Lol.
Jean, how nice to get in early & out early from your appointment too. I hope that you had a good day at school.
Butterfly123, Hi to you too.
I have been. MIA all week. DH had lab work/Dr. followup on Monday & all is well. I have been trying to get caught up in the house. Yesterday we went to the Honda place to see if he won the moped. He didn't, but was able to buy the one that they gave away, & they gave the winner the black one that DH was going to buy. The one that he bought is a beautiful shiny white one with a red seat. We had our $1.00 lunch at the lodge.
I have been having a blue week thinking about going to the cemetery this week as it the first time to mom & dad's grave without mom. Closing on the house is tomorrow & that gives me butterflies. I did have a nice lunch out today with a friend that helped me at the estate sale.
A good friend of ours got hurt yesterday at work. He retired from our city water dept. 2 years ago, took a part-time job with our pastors dad doing construction work & fell 2 stories off a ladder yesterday. He broke the small bone in his foot above the ankle & got some vertebrae injuries. He just bought a new camper, does lots of fishing & just had a 62 birthday party last weekend. His wife will be busy getting him healthy again. He is in the trauma unit until at least tomorrow.
I did get my closet all ready for summer. I started yesterday & finished this afternoon. Tomorrow I hope to get my shoes organized.
Too many things to do & so little time.
Hugs to all of you.

@KonaKat@Bird mama@twinny70@Snicks1
Today has been warm and humid. Several loads of wash and than hung on the clothesline.
Medical issues and appointments can be tiring.
Tornadoes in 5 states yesterday. Hoping for a peaceful night free of storms!
Hello to everyone and be well🌹

Evening, Thanx @Bird mama for the start, sorry to hear all the problems most are facing, I'm hoping for good outcomes for all of you.
We are in the midst of nasty, nasty, storms, hope we don't lose power, tv is erratic comes & goes (dish) so who knows what will happen, Sadie is not happy, just pacing all over the place, I know I have one of those "thunder shirts" somewhere, will have to look for it, but it's really hot/humid, so don't know if that will be a good thing
Stay safe

Good Afternoon/Evening! Thanks for getting us started, Bernie. Sorry the shoes did not work out. I also have a skinny ankle, so it would not be a good choice for me either. Oh well -- they are very cute, and I hope you get a lot of wear out of them, snicks. Sorry your DH is dealing with so many health problems. The ironic thing about my DH is that he only has one major health issue, but it affects his whole life. I know some of the caregiver spouses/parents have many other issues in addition to dementia/Alzheimer's which can make life even more difficult for them and their spouse/child.
Hi Butterfly 123 -- hope all is well with you.
Glad you were able to get into you appointment early, Jean. Did the treatment help?
I have been wearing those types of fitover sunglasses for several years, and I don't think I'll go back to other options. Some of them are at least slightly fashionable, but the main thing is that they work.
Sorry that you are going through this sad time twinny. It is nearly five years since my brother passed away, and I am still having trouble coming to grips with his early death (age 62). We had our differences, but he was my only sibling and both of my parents had passed away before him. Great news about your DH's new moped. So sorry your friend fell off the ladder. They certainly can be dangerous.
Hope you will be safe from the storms, Essie, and good luck with Sadie.
Waves to Kathleen, Arlene, Susan, Marijane, pinky ann, Gayle, Charlene, Barbara, Rosa, Karen, LindaR, and all of our posters and readers.
I was busy running around today -- DH's caregiver came, and then I took him to the "club" and took a walk. After that, I went to Wal-Mart and found several things for him, including some cough syrup and more allergy medicine. He is still coughing (dry cough), and I hope this helps.
Lunch was nice -- great company and a pretty good cheeseburger. Then I went to the thrift shop to drop off some more items, and the library to pick up a DVD I had on reserve before picking up DH. Today they made a coaster (painted it) -- very pretty. I'm certainly accumulating lots of gifts from the club.
Hope everyone has a nice evening and sleeps well.
Hugs,
Linda

I'm sentimental about things and love that your beloved makes crafts for you. He may be having issues but I'd like to think he has you in mind as he works those crafts. I'm getting emotional just thinking about it.

I agree with you Bernie. Unfortunately, DH does not make any of the crafts for me -- he does not have that type of motor control. However, others (maybe the caretakers or volunteers) make them for him, and sign his name. The coaster even has his initials. They are so kind to him there.
I forgot to thank you Jean for your information about the TSA pre-check. I had forgotten one trip when I was pre-checked. I didn't understand why, but it was nice. After looking on-line for information about delays at the two airports where I'll be going through security, I think I will probably not bother at this time. Just get to the airport early. For all I know, this may be my only airline trip for this year. Thanks.
One more thing -- Happy Birthday to Kelli!
