You had no idea your DH was having trouble eating at the time.  As soon as you found out, you remedied the situation.  It's not like his condition comes with a manual to explain everything :-)  I have inlaws in Arizona - I commend your state for not going on DST.  I would have sworn, many many years ago (mid 80's) when I was taking my Mom's dog to Perdue University for cancer treatment that Indiana or part of Indiana was also not on DST.  As the designated driver to Benji's appointment half the time I wasn't sure what time zone I was in, lol.
