Shopaholics One Day at a Time - Monday, April 3rd

Hello and happy Monday all.

I see Denim & Co has a TSV pant that comes in tall lengths.  I've never ordered pants by Denim & Co and probably won't be ordering the TSV either.  It's looks like it's comfy and casual.

Re: Shopaholics One Day at a Time - Monday, April 3rd

Hello Ladies...it's a. Beautiful day here..almost 60...the rains will be coming  again tomorrow .with the word "heavy" in front of the forecast) I saw the s/v Bernie and did not care for them... I did order that d&c denim pull on skirt though in the bleached color. I had ordered some tops from Macy's over the weekend and they have shipped and should get them Thursday.   I should really look to see what clothes I have for the summer/spring before I do any ordering any more(I know I have a lot .)

Thanks for the lovely graphic Meallen.

That's about all....I forget what day your DD's are coming Kathleen but I hope you have a great time with them...how long will they be there?            HAve a nice day everyone...Marijane

Bird Mama, I used to order a lot of Denim & Company when I couldn't get out of the house.  I dislike wide leg pants on myself & I no longer like the fabric content.  I tried on a lot of things last fall at the outlet store & the athletic fabric felt hot & rubbery to me if that makes any senses.

Cute graphic meallen.

Marijane, it is cloudy but mild here after getting rain yesterday.  It is supposed to be cloudy & rainy for most of the week.  My DH said that you should start rooting for the Red Sox.  Since our Brewer's are getting beat, he better root for the Red Sox too.

  • I have no idea how this dot got on the screen, but I can't get rid of it.  Nothing exciting, but I was able to take my moped downtown for my walk.

Tomorrow we need to go vote.  Just local races.

Hugs to all of you.

Good evening, everyone.I'm home from work something I will be doing the rest of the week.

I turned on the Q and  saw an expensive LG Henley with lace on the bottom. My first reaction was I could buy and inexpensive Henley and put my own lace on the bottom for the same effect.

I see there are several discussions about the TSV. I actually don't think it is that bad; it depends upon the body type, etc. I'd buy it before I'd buy the supertight pants some feature. There is nothing like something tight to emphasizse flaws, extra cushioning, etc.,

@KonaKat  I think the TSV is cute.

Often times I read that the rise of Denim & Co pants is really long.  I don't want to wear hip huggers (been there and done that as a kid) and I don't want a waistband that comes up to my bra either.

Maybe I'll wait for reviews and decide later.

Hi everyone - I won't be purchasing any TSV, though they look comfy for lounging around the house.  Like Marijane, I recently purchased tops from Macy's, so I feel I need to cut back on future clothing purchases.

Springtime is blooming around here.  cape plumbago, cape honeysuckle, geraniums, lantana, potato bushes, freesias, cystic rockrose, iris, etc.  Lots of pretty flowers.  Best of all?  Our citrus trees are blooming.  The smell is heavenly!  I can go out and pick an orange to eat, or just smell the blossoms.

Not a lot going on around here except some chores.  Hope you're all having a blessed day!  ~  Charlene

@Bird mama  did you check the actual garment measurements link?  I have had good luck using this before ordering clothing.

Re: Shopaholics One Day at a Time - Monday, April 3rd

Good Afternoon/Evening!  Sorry to be late in posting, but it turned out to be a busier than expected day.  I decided to cash in some old savings bonds -- they have my old name on them, old address, etc.  Long story short, they would only do 10 at a time, and they would not accept an ID without my old name on it.  I have had a different name for nearly 10 years, but went home and I managed to find an old passport along with my marriage license and divorce decree.  Even then, cashing them in took a while.  I have another set of the bonds, and I plan to cash them in on Wednesday since tomorrow is my volunteer day.

The volunteer party was very nice, but very crowded.  DH seems to be doing pretty well, but sleepy today.

Army DGS got back from two weeks of training only to find out that he will be be going to Kuwait in June as he expected.  He is not a happy camper since he planned to save the money he earned to buy a car when he returned.  Grandma isn't too upset about him not being exposed to possible hazardous duty, but I know he is disappointed.

Yesterday evening, my TV suddenly went out.  I was multi-tasking (using the computer), and the internet connection was down and then the phone wasn't working.  I called the cable company using my cell phone, and they said it should be repaired by 10:30.  That did not happen, but everything was back today.

I am not a fan of wide-leg pants.  Slim leg and/or straight leg is much more my thing.  But, the TSV looks comfy.  Hope any who order enjoy them.

Waves to Bernie, Marijane, twinny, Jean, Charlene (your flowers, etc., sound lovely.)

I need to go back to visit DH soon.  Hope everyone has a nice evening!

Hugs,

Linda
