Shopaholics One Day at a Time - Friday June 1st

Image result for welcome to june

Hello there shopping friends.  Another month is behind us and I think today is the longest day of the year.  It's overcast and I'm still waiting for the rain that was promised.  My property is not dried out or anything, the robins are just working overtime to feed their young.

I received my ecco sneakers yesterday and sprayed them with protectant this morning.  They are drying out and airing out in the garage.

How are you doing on this fine day?

Can anyone tell me where May went ?? It seems that I just changed the calendar.

Well, I just saw it yesterday! I’ll go change the calendars too.

Hello Ladies. We received the rain late yesterday and I think it rained most of the night..it was very foggy this morning and rain has stopped but I think it's going to be a crummy day, weekend too.  it's also very humid, I hope this summer will not be like a few years ago when we had rain just about every weekend.  There are a lot of business thst depend on sunny hot weekends up and down the East coast beaches.   I think the longest day is June 21st Bernie... my oldest  son's birthday.

indoor Kitty..if you find out where May went let us know!!  Seems like yesterday we were wondering where April went.    I had gone to the store this morning and it wasn't busy...now to figure out what to do with the rest of the day.    it must have been lousy weather in Baltimore last night too as the Yankees were rained out...I don't ever remember them having to have so many make up games due to the rain.

OH well my flowers are loving this weather.   Have a nice day everyone.....Marijane

@Genny1  Hopefully on the 21st it will be sunny.  If the day is going to be the longest of the year, who wants a long day of overcast weather (like today). Woman Very Happy

Good Morning/Afternoon, and thanks for getting us started, Bernie.  It is sunny and hot here in Arizona.  We may have record highs this weekend.

I will be back, DH's lunch is ready.

Re: Shopaholics One Day at a Time - Friday June 1st

Hello, everyone. I am home from work. I agree that the month went by so quickly.  I have no doubt that June will pass as quickly and it will register on us that the year is half over. What lies ahead? Well, Christmas in July  and more importantly our nation's birthday. After June, it seems the year really flies by.

I know my Lug TSV is at the Post Office but since it will be too big for a parcel locker to pick small boxes, etc. up after window hours, it will have to sit there until I can get there. I got home today ten minutes after the window closed.

Today was the last full day of school for students. They will return at the beginninng of August, so the summer will fly for them.

Jean. I was surprised thst my Lug came in their regular plastic bags and it was delivered by ups.....it did say delivery would be by us mail, but that morning when I checked it said ups will be in your area so will deliver it instead of the post office.....I have noticed that has happened several times before.

Marijane--Mine was to be delivered by UPS when I ordered it but UPS switched it to dropping it off at the Post Office. I rarely see UPS anymore. If they have several things to deliver in town, they now will drop them off at the Post Office to eliminate frequent stopping in town. It supposedly is a fuel saving measure as well as time. I expected the Lug to come in a box.
