Good Afternoon! It is partially sunny here, and the high is predicted to be in the mid 70's. There is even a slight chance of much needed rain. I know that some areas of the country are having storms and/or snow. Hope your weather is okay.
I turns out that the problem is with my hearing aid rather than my charger. Oh well. I was able to get an appointment with my audiologist next Wednesday afternoon (late). This was the same aid that went bad before, and it took a while to have repaired. Hope it doesn't take too long this time.
In addition to the State tax issue, the State of Arizona Department of Transportation had sent me a letter saying that there was no proof that I had automobile insurance, and if I didn't have any, they were revoking my registration.
I freaked out since I have never been without automobile registration, and had just paid my 6-month premium. I could not reach them on the phone, and the internet site didn't work either. So, I contacted my insurance agent, and she sent in the information. Also, I mailed copies of my insurance card. My agent suggested that I check back and make sure things were okay, and when I did that this morning, it said that there was no proof of insurance. After much ado (and holding for more than 30 minutes), I was finally able to get someone who said all was fine, and even gave me the information that they had about the date of insurance, etc. I guess their website is just not updated. At least that is okay.
Nothing exciting going on here. I took the hospice letters to the Post Office, and the Amazon return to the UPS store. Amazon sent the correct item without waiting for the return, and I have it now.
Thanks to Bernie and Fressa for letting me know about the benches. They certainly are lovely, but I decided that I would need to put some sort of roof or cover over my back patio in order to use them, and that would cost me hundreds or thousands of dollars. Oh well....
I like the TSV swimsuit, but I have plenty of suits. It did motivate me to try on a couple of my suits, and they are still fine. I have not been swimming for well over a year, but hope to get back to it this summer (assuming that I feel safe in the pool.)
Waves to all of our posters and readers. Hope everyone has a nice evening and sleeps well.
Hugs,
Linda

Good grief Linda @LindaLatte the state of Arizona has it out for you. I hope that the insurance concern (on their end) is the end of all that.
My sister received her first covid vaccine this morning. I scheduled her appointment at the local senior center and since I scheduled it, I knew when to expect her. Apparently she knew to expect me because she arrived from work with two cups of hot Tim Hortons coffee when she made it to the parking lot.
You know, it's funny. When I went to Meijers to get my first shot I didn't feel anything. The store had people in it because folks were grocery shopping or clothes shopping. Meijers is a lot like a Super K. Food on one side of the store, a pharmacy and merchandise, clothing, housewares etc on the other side of the store.
Folks were at the pharmacy counter doing their regular business the day I went for my shot.
This morning, waiting in a car for nearly 45 minutes (before and after time of her shot) and watching people all ages, shapes and capabalities waiting to get in a building for one express purpose - getting the vaccine- was a very emotional experience for me. Yea I cried in the car, rofl.
I'm the only one in the family that got the Moderna. Everyone else got the Pfizer. I found an appointment for my youngest niece and scheduled both appointment for her - she went for her first Pifzer (her preference) this past Monday. My sister didn't know which one would be administered until she got inside. Like me, she had no preference. God willing and the creeks don't rise - everyone in the family should have their last shots by May 7th.

Good things come to those who wait (most of the time).
They dropped the clearance price on this centigrade jacket so I ordered it finally in the blush color.
