Re: Shopaholics: One Day At A Time (Tuesday, April 14th)

It remains cold around here.  I placed an online order for 2 bags of the correct finch seed from Pet Supplies Plus then swung by the store to pick it up.  It was nice to walk in (mask/gloves and all) and say my first name and be handed the bag with a receipt stapled to it.  My gas tank was just under a 1/4 tank so I went to the gas station and tanked up while the price was $1.49.  I can't remember when I was last able to tank up a car for like $22.

Speaking of books, I heard about a new one that might be of interest to you, Bernie --

"What It's Like to Be a Bird: From Flying to Nesting, Eating to Singing--What Birds Are Doing, and Why"  by David Allen Sibley

Of course, you know a lot of this information, but.....

Linda @LindaLatte  thank you for bringing the book to my attention.  I don't know that they are the most recent versions however I do have the Sibley Field Guides for Eastern North America and Western North America.

I'm going to Barnes & Noble dot com (after this post) and order the hardcopy version of David Sibley's new book.
