Good morning ladies, hope all is well.
I am a little depressed, our warm weather is gone for awhile. It was wonderful to sit on the deck and enjoy the weather. I guess Mother Nature is not done with us, can't figure out what we did so wrong.
We are still unpacking here, just some stray boxes with stuff we aren't quite sure what to do with. When this is all finished, I am starting the decluttering again, have been doing it some as we unpacked but I know I kept too much. I still haven't found my 3/4 length shirts yet?????
Need to get some breakfast and continue with the fun.
Hope everyone has a great morning.

Hi Everyone!
PALady---Thanks for getting us started today. Our weather seems to very similar. Thankfully the predicted storm last night wasn't as severe as it could have been. Today is cool, cloudy and some drizzle. At least it will water the gardens.
I have no "zip" today so it's good I'll be doing the bill pay. Hopefully, I'll grocery shop tomorrow. I don't even want to think about the total. I have to get some errands accom-plished this week so crossing my fingers that I can check that off the list.
I still have more declkutterin on the list but I think I need to make another pass thru the closets. I noticed that one or two of the Piera storage cubes are a bit cramped with the microfiber sheets, etc. I also found 2 pair of capri when I was reaching for my hoodie. A little at a time and eventually it will all be done. (LOL)
I have been searching the Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore websites for paint colors once all the wallpaper is peeled. So many shades but slowly I'm eliminating color shades. My current line of thought is to use one color in most of areas except maybe one bedroom. (The floor plan is semi open .)
I watched part of D&C this morning but didn't find a Mother's Day gift for theIL....yet.
I hope Twinny70 is on the road with her last state trip.
Birdmama--Hope you are feeling a bit better.
I will keep all those in need in my thoughts and prayers
Have a good afternoon/evening.

Good Afternoon/Evening and thanks for getting us started, Susan. Sorry you are not happy with your weather. We are having the opposite issue -- warmer than normal here with a high of 95 degrees predicted. It was cool when I took my early morning walk, but really warmed up by 9:00 a.m.
I would certainly miss my 3/4 sleeve tops -- they are my favorites since I have short arms. Long sleeves are usually too long for my short arms, and I have "crepey" upper arms -- very wrinkled so I prefer not to show them. Good luck with your continued decluttering.
Hope you find the colors you like, Fressa. DH always wanted plain white, which was what we had. But, after he passed, I had the house re-painted with colors. Hope you are able to get the bill paying done today, and grocery shopping, etc., will go okay tomorrow or whenever you get to it. I realized that my "sticker shock" last Thursday resulted in me purchasing too few groceries. So, I have a Walmart pick-up planned for tomorrow.
Like you, I hope Glenda and her DH are off on a safe and enjoyable trip.
I don't think there are any rules about yard sales here, but I have never had one myself.
The exciting news is that DD's house is under contract. After worrying most of the day, their real estate agent called around 6:00 p.m. to say that they had two offers -- one much better than the other. If all goes as planned, they will close on May 31st. The new owners will permit them to stay for two months after the closing, but DD and my SIL hope to be able to move before the end of June. Whew!
The vegan group meeting yesterday was very interesting, and after the meeting I was able to get to the tire store. One of my tires needed air. Hopefully, there is no problem with the tire since this was one of the two newer ones.
The lady whose husband I watched last Saturday asked that I watch him tomorrow while she and his son go to look at assisted living places. I will do that after my Walmart pick-up.
There were more people at the senior lunch program today, and all went well.
Waves to all of our posters and readers. Sleep well everyone.
Hugs,
Linda

I just finished reading your posts from the last 3 days.
Linda L, I am sure that your dd's house will sell quickly at a good price. A house on our block just went up for sale so it will be interesting to see if it's sold while we are gone. Several homes in our area were put on the market and sold in a day going for a lot more than the asking price.
Fressa, I like color and couldn't wait to paint the rooms in our old house and this one. I only like white for shorts, capris and skorts. Not tops. Our home is open concept which we love & I still painted different areas different colors.
Just a quick update. We left home at 8:15 this morning and it was a chilly 35° drive which I prefer. The heated seats were nice. After we got done eating a great lunch at Yoder's (Amish restaurant) it was in the 50's & sunny.
I am so glad that I got my haircut on Monday. The only thing I forgot to bring is hair spray so I will be buying a can of it tomorrow.
We were going to stay at a State Park campground tonight, but it's going to be in the upper 30's again tonight, so we are taking it easy in a motel.
Tomorrow afternoon we will get to my niece's house. Then we are all going to Cracker Barrel for dinner. It's fun to stay there overnight. This is going to be a leisurely road trip. We are flying by the seat of our pants as we never know how far we want to drive each day. We have lots of things planned, so I hope that we can get them all done.
The weather looks nice with 60's & just a chance of rain here and there.
Hugs to all of you.
Glenda
