Good afternoon ladies, hope all is well.
No TSV for me today, not in the mood to buy cleaning items, purses and clothes, well that is another subject. It is cold out, but the sun is shining and it makes it "look" like a nice day out. I need to get a few things done here, some cleaning, ironing and making a grocery list for tomorrow. I have a great recipe for Mediterranean Chicken so I need get the ingredients on my list.
Well I do need to get moving, and I do need some caffeine, so I hope everyone has a great afternoon.

Susan--Thank you for starting the thread. I have so many clothes and handbags that items t hat help me out around the house draw greater attention. I am not, however, buying the TSV. Making a list is great as it keeps you on track when shopping.
I've been working in the kitchen. I've been looking at pictures of the rooms after all the remodeling years ago. I've acquired too many things since then. Right now, I'm focusing upon the kitchen. I am going to select a limited number of pieces I might use and then box the rest up. In six months, I'll make a decision about what to do with the items. I have to admit that watching HGTV and seeing rooms redone and put in ready to sell condition with all the excess removed has been very motivating.
We have sunshine which is so great! Saturday is expected to be a very nice day with no showers expected until evening. Even showers is better than snow or ice. I plan to go with a friend to the city for a hair color and then meet more friends for a dinner at the Outback. I see that my selection of steamer bags of veggies is getting limited, so I will need to stock up on some more on Saturday. I'll also check to see what else will be needed to the list.
Have a great day!

Good morning friends! I wouldn't mind a new bag! ha ha I have a $40 coupon for my fave store, maybe I will make it in there this weekend. There is nothing I really need so I have not used it, although been tempted with a couple things. I am in love with my new Old Navy extra long tops. All this time I had no idea they existed or would be a good fit for me. I do need a pair of boot cut jeans.
I need to go through my kitchen as well. I have put decluttering on the back burner, just get so busy with life. I'm supposed to go hiking this weekend with a friend, maybe kayaking depending on weather. Sunday staying home with my Sweetie and looking forward to it. He is pretty wound up, too much going on in our lives right now. I need some nesting time.

Linda started a thread too. Linda if you wanted to you could edit it and make it a ""What are you Wearing Thursday"" thread. Linda(R) wrote:
Good morning ladies. We are expecting a warming trend today. Then the next blast heads our way. Hope the weather is moderating for you cold ladies. The event we had earlier in the week was black ice. That is the event that moved east. No shopping on my radar Karen: so happy your DS is home. Always good to be home Kathleen: I didn't realize your missionary friends started your celebrate recovery. What fabulous works they are doing. So sorry your brother is being deployed again. Prayers for all the military

Oh Rosa, beautiful pictures. You look wonderful, and so proud! I love the tree ornament notes. And the pic of them with the dog. Very sweet!

Kathleen, the picture with the dog was on a table honoring the Military. It was in the fron narthex of the church right near the tree. The brides brother is stationed in Korea and the wedding was skyped so he could be there, and the dog picture is a young man that DS played college football with and is now deployed, his wife was able to come. After the ceremony you could go to the computer and talk to her brother in Korea, it was already New Years Day there.

Rosa--The pictures are fabulous. Everyone looks so happy! Lady with the big hair? I think you exaggerate, but it is great to be able to put a face with the name! I think it was great that the wedding was shared via Skype.
Kathleen--I have that Travelon bag that was featured earlier this week on my wish list. I have a feeling that it will be coming home, perhaps as a reward for doing well this month.
I am one of the few that doesn't have a dishwasher. Right now, I have dishpan hands from washing everything in the kitchen.

Kona you are right we were all so happy. The girl that did my hair for the wedding called the style Big Texas Hair
I loved it, she did it at 4 and it still looked the same at midnight. My Dh is the bald guy with the goatee

Jean I have a dishwasher but it is my storage area for pans. The water here is so hard that it eats dishwashers for lunch, and I've never found a machine that really got the dishes clean to my satisfaction. This is one area I suspect I will just remain a dinosaur. What is the Travelon item number?
Rosa that is sweet that they remembered the military that way.
