She's a good host for shoes, no matter what kind. She has pretty feet.

IMO the show is getting old. The overhead shot as Jane holds the boxtop on for a few extra seconds to build suspense and then pops it off. I noticed Alberti did it that way too when he had to stand-in for her while she changed after the Beauty with Benefits show. No doubt she instructed him that's how we do it. ...just show the shoes.

You are missing out on a phenominal brand of shoes! I have a high arch, and in my 60 years, I've never found sandals as comfy as Orthaheel. Plus they have come out with some really cute sandals. Also I loved the Softspots Amena shoe Jane had on....especially in the two floral colors. I have a couple pair of these type shoes (not the SoftSpot brand) that I really like.

The title cracked me up.

When will people learn to spell either ""Jane"" or ""Jayne"" so that it refers to the correct person?
They've both been on-air a very long time.

If you want to start a thread, clearly designed more to be nasty about a Host, than a product, there are worse things to be called than Grandma.
I see the post title is a humorous way to call the SHOES matronly...not Jane. Clearly we all don't have the same sense of humor;but everything is not always a host bash. The show title could be "Shoe Shopping with Alberti" and it would be funny to switch to Grandpa...because clearly he is not; but the shoes give off an older vibe. It's funny....to me.

Yes Jane does seem happy and gracious. I enjoy her presentations. I may not care for the shoe selection, but that is no reason to take shots at Jane. However, the OP seems to think she's quite the fashion "expert" around here (if you've read a number of her posts).
I often wonder , when women here are whining about QVC fashions , who designated them as a fashion expert? Who says that they have good taste? Can they prove that their taste is better than mine?

I too took it as a commentary on the shoes, not Jane.

I think the shoe vendors have come along way with new styles this Spring. I am not a stiletto or high heeled girl, just my lifestyle. But I have seen some very cute wedges that I am keeping my on. We just need the weather here. I did wear sandals last week for a few days, then it snowed and we had frost. Today is cloudy and cold. Hopefully May will be a better month.

All these shoe shows are bad. Shoe Shopping with Jane, Sole Sisters and Leah Loves Shoes feature pretty dreadful, comfort shoes. Leah wears some pretty awesome shoes most of the time so I have a hard time believing most of what she presents are shoes she'd ever wear.
