Whenever I post about Shein, the naysayers quickly jump in. But I'm fascinated with this company.

Last year it was ranked as the third largest startup in the world at $100 billion valuation, behind TikTok and SpaceX. This year Shein's valuation dropped to $66 billion, but it is exploring an IPO.

Shein makes so much clothing it may start importing fabrics from India. Who would have foreseen that?

It has become my only source for woven blouses. You see garment measurements by putting your cursor on a size. Reviews can be translated into 20 languages, but I don't bother reading them. If you're between sizes always size up.

Sunday is free shipping day. Shein ships quickly with an excellent tracker. No problems whatsoever.

Looks like a preponderance of hooker clothing.

I've seen some cute things on that site, but hesitate to order from them because everything is so cheap that I thought it must be junk.  How can they sell an adorable purse for $3.00??  I'm so baffled by this place.  hahaha

If it's become your only source for woven blouses @PickyPicky3 , you must be satisfied with the quality.  Have you dared to buy anything else there?

one of my daughters (in her 20s) gets stuff from there every once in a while, but we all consider it pretty much "disposable clothing," questionable quality at times, and everything runs small. also, make sure to read their numerous notes in their help and support section. there are categories of items that are not returnable.

if the company works for you, then that is great.

Never heard of this company.  Out of curiousity checked it out.  Prices are very cheap and an XL is a size 12????  While I never pay QVC's inflated prices, this seems to me to be the other extreme.  If it works for you, enjoy!

Edited to note that I looked at some of their wedding dresses.  I liked quite a few of them and for a one-time wearing, the price is great!

Chinese-owned fast fashion. Workers are paid by the piece and that amounts to practically nothing in sweat shops I would imagine.

Shein, Zara, Old Navy, and other brand shops that sell below the normal is "fast fashion" that exploits their workers, many of whom are children.  I only buy from ethical brands.

If you really want to know about fast fashion, look under Justine Leconte from Parsons Design school with Tim Gunn.

I have never heard of this company and just looked at their site.

My first thought was they must use slave labor to charge those low prices.  But who knows.......

According to a bipartisan group of U. S. Representatives there is credible evidence that they use Uyghur forced labor to manufacture their products.
