You think she comes to blog (I assume she actually writes the blogs?), and doesn't read the PMS related comments? Could this explain why most all the threads critical of her and the new Monday lineup have mysteriously disappeared? The ones that had literally thousands of views before they were proofed? Yep.Absolutely!
Oh, don't we just love all the authoritative comments on every subject in this community of "experts."
lol I know I do for sure
haha
And I think we actually DO know that to be fact because she (and other hosts) bring up comments we all make here or on FB. It's human nature to wonder what people are saying about you when you are in the public eye
, A Walker! I started this discussion as a result of her "pushing" action last night, but she also said last night that we know she is honest (that thread was quickly poofed while she was on camera, though), and then there are her comments about her feet/heels... all of this spoken by her while she is hosting a show. She is so obvious in defending herself to us. It would be better if she were to simply watch what she does/says, just do her job and stop wasting valuable air time " 'splaining herself, Lucy." HaHa.
Oh you made me laugh at your comment! But I agree...she has a lotta 'splainin to do lately and it comes across as even more desperate than if she would just do what you suggested: watch her actions AND words. When one thing comes up, that's fine; but she can't continue in this trend of saying and then explaining it away. One thing I can say is we are really fine listeners around here! Savvy shoppers and good listeners! ![]()

so? I had horrible foot pain from PF and heel tendinitis and now only wear Orthoheel slippers 90% of the time around the house. The excruciating foot pain is gone. The arch support of these "corrects" your foot and I think over time realigns it.
Why should you care?
ETA: BTW, Buck-I, I agree with you. While so many comments sound like nothing more than a bunch of old biddies gossiping at the back fence, these hosts are making mucho dollars on air. So who has the last laugh? I don't think any of them have ever been fired for what posters are always criticizing them for.
I don't think anyone on here has ever thought of actually having a host fired, however, I also think there should be some sense of accountability for what they say and do while presenting a product in which we may or may not be interested in purchasing. We are not there in front of said product as we would be in a b&m store, therefore we rely on the physical description of the product. Numerous times we don't even get to see the inside of bags that are going like the speed of light because this host in question would rather tell us about how much SHE likes it, or what outfits she could see herself wearing while carrying it. How does that pertain to MY decision to purchase it is beyond me. I will never see her, so I don't care how SHE would use that bag.
And while yes, they might all be laughing all the way to the bank....ya know something? I would hope, especially from a person who quotes the Bible regularly, that it isn't at OUR expense, playing us for fools.

She may think she's honest, but I heard her embellish the truth on Isaac's show last week. Honest, she was not.

I heard that too....and Isaac was fast to correct her as she gave him the look like "hush... I was just embellishing a little". When we return products because they aren't as she said, it goes against Isaac, not Shawn. So he would for one want to represent it properly while she was trying to talk it up FOR the sale.

Well,I declare it's a doggone miracle. Look at all the money Vionics saved her in all those trips she told us about to her Podiatrist. It was just terrible all that misery she suffered b/ of her afflicted feet. And her inability to wear fashion shoes. I'm surprised she didn't use a cane b/c of her poor feet. Guess she'll chuck all those Vionics she so adored.

I wonder how she can sell much of anything, sine she's not the type who wears jeans, hates foundation, doesn't like handbags, she's a silver person, and on and on ad infinitum. 8)

ITA! Yes, we around here are paying attention and we are interested in the products that QVC offers, but once a host says or does something questionable and we change the channel, QVC is missing an opportunity to make a potential sale. As you mentioned, A Walker, "she can't continue in this trend of saying and then explaining it away." It's simply bad for business.

Again, ITA with your post, A Walker, and particularly the comment that I have bolded of yours above. That would be the most despicable sales tactic ever!

And ya know what??? It's threads like this with all these honest opinions....that if I were a host....would view as constructive criticism of a job I'm doing that obviously is coming across as insincere. And I must say.... especially because she IS always quoting the Bible and saying she IS honest to us! When many people come on here to complain about the exact same thing, we can't all be wrong. Deleting threads is also something that shows me they hear what we are saying, but don't want it to snowball out of control for a person they deem to be their fashion expert. And you ARE right: it IS bad for business!
