I ordered the skirt in black, thought about it and cancelled my order. I really will not get enough wear out of it to justify the purchase.

The skirt is really cute.  One of the models had a sequinned top on with the black skirt and it looked really cute. The band around the skirt is elastic is a big plus.  However you would have to have a special event to attend.  In my opinion anyway.

@ILTH  This is a totally different look due to the fabrics.  This is not a button-down-collar shirt.  This is more formal than casual look but not formal at that period of time at all.  This was what one would have worn to work and together.  No comparison between a silk skirt and a chambray shirt (which Shawn's shirt was --- chambray --- not denim).  Somehow we are getting chambray and denim confused.  Two very different fabrics.  A chambray is a plain weave fabric woven with a colored yarn in the warp and a white yarn in the weft. Like chambray,denim is made with a colored yarn in the warp and white in the weft, but is woven in a twill construction. ... This denim is generally very heavy, and in most cases would not make for a comfortable shirt.

@TiqueI like this skirt, the yoke at the waiste, and the hair style.  This top looks a little better because it's fitted.  

The picture seems evoke similarities from what I've seen from Ralph Lauren.

If Shawn was trying to mimic this look (or Sharon Stone's), she missed it.
