I did not care for them as they are wide legged.

I noticed them right away. Lots of shorter wide legged pants out there this season. Not my style.

gaucho pants is what I thought they were. Like in a Western movie.

I wouldn't wear them, flap, flap, going on all the time. Wind resistance would

be a problem in Tx.

I loved the way the top of the pants looked .. i liked the seaming detail ...

but when we got to the bottom ...Uh no .....

I like the pants but didn't notice the distressing. That ruined it for me.

I think a more fitted top would have been better.

I think the pants are adorable on Shawn.  I don't necessarily love the top she was wearing with those particular bottoms.  I dont notice any distressing at all. 

They aren't something that would look good on me though.  I'm a 5'4" pear shape.  Enough said.  LOL
