That self-deprecating statement about not being able to afford high end designer fashions ... well, that just doesn't quite ring true.  I've seen her in some pretty expensive garments over the years.  I suspect she said that for our benefit ...

There's a difference between high end that costs several hundred, and couture which costs several thousand.

Exactly.....I can afford a  Louis Vuitton bag but I can't buy a Hermes bag.

And having said that, who on this God's green earth wants an LV canvas bag to advertise for a designer whose merchandise is not only the most overpriced thing on the market, but may be the ugliest purse I ever witnessed.  One of my dear friends has a whole collection.  She also has a Hermes and a large collection of money.  I love her but her taste in handbags is mediocre to say the least.

Someone who appears on air as if she just rolled out of bed, should collaborate doing pajamas and model it in a correct size. They might sell if they don't show all wrinkled and tight around the middle and rumpled pants.

That look of her from the backside with the sloppy boots and ill fitting tight coat, was a shame.

It's time for her to move from fashion selling and design to mattress and linens selling.

@febe1

Well said; I agree with your evaluation.  What puzzles me is that the corporation promotes that host as their Beauty Expert and as their Fashion Expert.

Different styles for different people. I love my LV bags but I have Coach, Lug and others.  I never put my style in a box.

I agree, different strokes. Don't do LV, but love Gucci.

This is actually Katrina's SP line, that Shawn is taking credit for.

@JJ   Really??  Where did you read that?

When QVC first announced Studio Park collections by the hosts, Shawn's name was indeed included.  Why would she need to take over someone else's line?

The next SP collection will be Alberti's -- some items for men, and some items for women.  In particular, he's bringing that martini glass embroidered sweater he has worn a few times in his Gourmet Holiday shows.  He received a lot of requests for that last year.
