I have to say I do agree that Shawn looks like her clothing is too tight on her. Isaac even tells her she needs to go up a size, LOL! It actually would be helpful if the hosts did give their measurements when modeling. I understand it's personal info, but maybe they shouldn't be modeling the clothes in the first place. All they give is their height and that is useless.

One of several reasons. Q studios isn't a warehouse or at/next door to the warehouse. They don't get every size of every item so hosts are stuck wearing what they do have.

What size she is wearing and what size WE think she SHOULD BE wearing are two totally different things.
I have posted this before, but QVC has a LOT of legal rules as to what can be said and what can't. I just don't believe they will purposely lie about what is on their back.

I think vanity sizing needs to be thrown out. QVC is perpetuating a lie to people about their body. In the Age of Possibility (lol) why be ashamed of sizing, if we are supposed to be so authentic, body loving and honest? Then, the second step would be to post the body measurements of the hosts that fancy themselves part-time models (Amy, SK, MD, CK and others) and then you will know if the clothing is actually the correct size based on a real non-vanity size chart, more or less.
I use the garment specific size chart and do not use a model or host as my guide. None of them resemble my body shape. So, if she or any other person want to wear different size clothing, rock on with your bad self, but it will likely not help sell the garment if it fits poorly.
I think a lot of people shop on the Q BECAUSE of vanity sizing. Some people feel better about themselves when they think they are smaller than they actually are. The fact that they now sell clothing in 5X tells you they have many larger customers. Vanity sizing on the Q isn't going anywhere.

Why would anyone care what size another woman was?
Do you think women are better if they wear smaller sizes and women who wear bigger sizes are less than perfect?
Time to get over this catty language. Wear what size you want to and let others wear the size they want to as well. It really doesn't matter.
Some women lie about their age and weight....so stupid. How did grown women get to be so weird?
Just live and let live. Move on past these childish games.

A person may be able to get an idea of size by finding someone who you honestly think is close to your size but so much goes into that. Take Shawn for instance. She is fuller busted so those XXS small sizes she wears pull across her bust. She has very slim arms and longer legs so if someone isn't exactly built like her, using her as a model doesn't work. I use Amy Stran as my model because we are very similar in size. I am a bit taller than her but on the bottom, especially in jeans we wear the same size. I could wear an XXS in tops but in most cases I prefer the XS unless it's oversized. In Logo jeans can wear a 0 and I am not a 0.
Every designer is so different in their sizing and fabric content plays another part. One has to know their own bust waist and hips measurements in order to get the right size. In Liverpool I can wear a 2 in Jeans but the 4 fits better. The rise also makes a difference in jeabs, especially if they are high waisted or mid rise. When you buy clothes online you have to know your measurements.

Similar to what @CalminHeart said, I think most vendors only give xs samples to display so it is good when the host is xs or at least can fit into the sample to sell it. Some of the other vendors like bfd, Isaac, Denim and Co. may spend more money and provide more sizing options than just the samples for the hosts to get a better fit.
