I was watching Bob Mackie with Carolyn yesterday. Carolyn put on a vest that was being presented, and Bob made a comment about wearing the size that you should and not the size you want to be. Carolyn handled it well, but he continued with comments about tight/unflattering clothing. Carolyn was obviously taken aback, but just laughed and continued. It was really difficult to watch.

I really enjoyed Sharon with Bob M. I thought she offered some really good, astute comments about the fabrics, designs and colors!.

Now that Shawn is on leave, it seems that Sharon is the host being picked on the most...

@Trudey I didn't see it but do thinK Carolyn often wears a size too small which is unflattering, as does lovely Jackie the model on LOGO. Therefore, if the stylists at Q aren't going to tell them, somebody should and if a professional such as Mackie finally did, I think I'm glad! (although again, I didn't see it so I don't know how insulting - or not - it came across).

i loved when jacque was paired with bob.....they were always fun together. i also love when they have antonella do a show with him.
Bob really enjoys Antonella. They get along very well. I like the way he gives Antonella tips on colors and what would look good on her. I enjoy them together.

Watched the presentation and he def looked concerned that the size was a bit too small.....and Carolyn did admit that viewers have written in and told her she should be wearing a XL............i truly believe what size Carolyn wears is up to Carolyn............the items she wears is up to the stylists.......So far i have heard Louis D. and Bob Mackie comment on the larger sizes....nobody is listening......

The hosts are wearing the clothes to sell them. Bob Mackie and Louis D. are there at the Q to sell the clothes too. So if a size is unflattering on a host, it certainly is of concern to the designer vendors because if the clothes don't look good on someone, people are less likely to purchase them. I'm still glad Bob said something - someone should!

I like Sharon Faetch as a host. It's nice when she gets to host somethng other than a gourmet food show. Maybe I don't watch enough of her hours, but I never associated her with the fast talking, everything about me and my family type of host.

I thought she was talking a bit too much, but Bob seemed ok with it. Overall, I enjoyed the show - haven't watched a Bob Mackie show in a long time.

I watched it and didn't think Bob was necessarily referring to Carolyn when he made the comment. He could have just as easily been referring to women who choose XS over Small, so it's not like he's trying to single out "larger sizes."
