What do you think about second hands? To me, that's a great place where I can always find something special.

What about you?

@artisticsigh  Yes!......especially with inflation such as it is now, second hand can be great and you never know what may be found. Serendipitous.

I've found some very nice things at local Goodwill Boutique stores. There's one in particular located in an exclusive part of town where there are many high-end fashion finds there.

I've got quite a few "previously loved" items in my closet. I love poking around second hand stores to see what I might find. "The thrill of the hunt", you might call it!  One of my daughters only wears second hands for environmental purposes other than some shoes, bras and underwear.

Try thredup.com. Great place to find gently used clothes--some are new with tags. I order from there once in a while.

I love shopping second hand and do so whenever I can.  I believe in recycling items as opposed to trashing them (unless you need to trash them).   There are several stores that I love and shop often.  I also donate a lot too.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

I don't much like the idea of wearing someone elses clothing but I have donated a lot for people who do.   My idea of "second hand" is antique shopping!  I have found some beautiful vintage items over the years.

I am pro.  I buy on ebay and at a consignment store.  I like having a lot of clothes and buying used makes things so much more affordable.  Yes, I have made some mistakes along the way, but I have made more fabulous purchases than mistakes.

Most of my stuff is from yard sales, etc. I really don't need much anymore, so I don't go to them much anymore.

I am the proud queen of secondhand.

I buy only the best, including many NWT, mostly at local thrift shops. Great labels, including j.jill, Nike, Jones New York, etc.

Today, for example: NWT Eileen Fisher 3/4 sleeve tee Tag read $68.00. I paid $10.00. NIB Vionic Malorie wedge slide sandals: $48.00 and Asics sneakers: $4.50.

Yesterday I bought a gorgeous dress for my son's wedding from an upscale consignment boutique. Exactly what I wanted, perfect fit and impeccable construction and tailoring. Original price was $500.00 (found the dress online at a local bridal boutique). I paid $150.00.

I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Much of my home furnishings are someone else's castoffs.

I only buy new if I can't find it secondhand (with some notable exceptions, of course).

Buying less and less from ebay. Their prices and shipping have become too high.
