Scott Hynd - Air Innovations Rep … Is it just me?

It is just me or does this guy grate on anyone else's last nerve? He's like a robot with his stale sales spiel. He never changes up his routine. From all his silly actions to his tired phrases, he says EXACTLY the same thing every time he's on! And the way he fawns over LR when she is host with him makes himself look like a foolish teenager with a crush.

If the BEAUTY aspect of his humidifier is so great, I often wonder why he still has so many wrinkles. After all, that's all he knows how to tell us (when he's holding up his fingers, 1, 2, 3 while reading off his card) is the clinicals and how the humidifier is perfect to diminish fine lines and wrinkles. LOL. (these people play off of gullible viewers; they will say anything to sell!)

Even when he was selling the Frost Guard TSV last week, he never changed up his words when selling. Every presentation was exactly the same!!

Scott's presentation style doesn't bother me.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

I noticed the same thing - he couldn't have been more pleased to be with LR.

I've seen him many times and find no ill effects with his presentation. For a total stranger to grate on your last nerve is quite disturbing. Try finding a way to minimize your stress levels.

The stuff he comes on to present is pretty straight forward. I mean what else can you say about an ice and snow windshield protector or a humidifier?

The easiest thing to do is change the channel. No reason to sit there watching the same item presentations over and over.

Anyone whose profession entails presenting the same information to (ostensibly) different audiences will become comfortable with a routine outlining the major points. The product information rarely changes, so why would the presentation vary significantly from airing to airing?

My position includes public speaking on a regular basis, and I rely on a script (if you will), that emphasizes the major points of my presentation. Of course I make adjustments based upon the interaction of my audience, but in reality, the method in which I present my material can only be so fluid.

LOL I had the same thought - his wrinkles - either he doesn't use the machine or that's not a truthful statement! Many of these part time Christmas ""vendors"" are just local people who enjoy a slice of Show Business by getting a TV opportunity.

The gal who puts together the 3 piece Christmas tree is David V's next door neighbor - Scott probably has a regular job at Pep Boys!

I admit I felt embarrassed for him whenever I saw him on with LR. He was so gushy, fawning and obsequious.
