I just have sensitive ears and a low threshold for b.s.
I'm not an Erin fan either. I find her voice to be highly irritating but I also find her selling style annoying to say the least. I detest listening to anyone carry on about all their problem areas and figure flaws which she does on a regular basis.

Out of the three networks I watch, the Q, Evine and HSN, the Q stands out in this way: the hosts at the Q are the only ones who attempt self-promotion as they sell. The other networks, the hosts just sell. The Q, they must perform like an entertainer. A few at the Q don't, but just a few..
I prefer a host who doesn't reveal much at all about themselves and just sell. Minimal ego and all attention on the product.

She refers to her body type in the context of the clothing she's selling. On occassion she'll say she's 'waiting for her curves to come in' but beyond that I don't hear her 'carrying on' excessively. As for pointing out her perceived figure flaws; either she really is self conscious (which isn't such a stretch when you consider how critical women are of other women) or she's just trying to be relateable. I see neither as a bad thing..
Hey I'm not trying to invalidate your feelings, just pointing out the view from this angle. I have a difficult time watching Alice; not for anything she says really but her voice is a little like nails on a chalkboard to me! lol

Everytime I see Erin presenting, she talks as if she's overweight. Not long ago Sam from One World rolled his eyes and laughed and commented about what a tiny woman she is. Then again last night (which I saw in the repeat this morning), Sam was talking about the TTV top and covering things up/hiding things and people not being comfortable with their bodies and Erin commented about how he knows her so well.
I never see Erin get through a clothing show without making some type of comment about needing to lose a few pounds, how she put on pounds or wanting to hide her flaws. I'm sure that it is done somewhat to be relateable but I find it annoying. And IMO it can come across as very disingenuous when you can easily tell she doesn't need to lose weight. If she doesn't have curves and that bugs her, it's one thing to talk about how to dress for her figure type.

Erin just yammers on. She really doesn't need to talk about her figure. It's not like no one can see it. lol.
And I roll my eyes when she says, for the umpteenth time, that her husband has her on a budget.
She just acts like a twit.
P.S. That One World TS is awful. Looks like a tent on everyoe.

Yea it's bad! And evine has a good cross section of body tops and not ONE girl looked good in it!
Very disappointing TTV!

I like Evine but HSN is definately a step up, especially due to their fashions. They have better fashion, and also better fashions than QVC. Evine does not have good fashion clothing and it appears that QVC does not reach out for better. They continue on with the same oh, same oh.
