My father-in-law was from Canada and worked at a distillery where Segreams 7, VO and Canadian Club was bottled. He told me they would merely change the label when they were bottling the different types but it was all the same product.

that floral and plaid scarf would be cute for my daughter for christmas.
on nordstrom it is $24 (full price, not on sale).....no shipping
on kohls it is $11.24 (on sale from the full price of $28).....shipping charged if that is the only item purchased, or no shipping if you can find it in the store or use ship to store.

@itsmagic wrote:Yes and one in particular comes to mind. Three or four years ago I bought a Susan Graver spring jacket. A couple months later a friend of mine who lives in another town visited and she had the exact same jacket on with the same printed lining except it was under a different label (and was not bought at the Q). I was surprised because I thought Susan’s clothes were exclusive to her.
@itsmagic, a number of years ago SG did a blazer that was white and then came in your choice of large floral print. I saw that exact same blazer in the exact same colors at Dillards under the SAG Harbor label.
I just posted in another thread that I bought an Apt. 9 top from Kohls and a K&M top from Evine. They are nearly identical.

I have said it for years to both my kids and my husband----the same three mega corporations own everything. They just put a different label and price tag on it. If you'll lucky they add a seam or another feature.
I remember when my friend purchased a new SUV and one side had the JIMMY Logo and the other side had the BLAZER logo. No one noticed the error. She took the vehicle back to the dealer and they just removed the Blazer logo and tapped on the Jimmy logo. Who knew?

they are basically the same, but do have a few minor differences.

@Desertdi...really, like what? I Denim & Co., but if I can get it at a local store vs. paying the ridiculously high QVC shipping charges ($11.50 or more for one clothing item), I'm all for checking it out.

I'm pretty sure I can guess who the scarf manufacturer is, I think it's V. Fraas. They are made in Germany or China and they also private label for stores too. I've seen The same V. Fraas "Burberry" print scarves under the V. fraas name as well as other names like Lord & Taylor.
One World private labels for other clothing lines too. I've seen identical clothing items under the One World and also Macy's Style & Co label. Also the same one World print top under the Style & Co label and the Cleo label which is the name of a Canadian chain of women's wear stores.
